Pine
Why Pine?
Pine offers value in construction application as well as a design feature such as paneling, flooring and ceiling.
It is a soft textured lumber, ranging in color from creamy white to straw in the sapwood, and reddish to light brown in the heartwood. Different species offer different knot structures and colors, which enable different finish characteristics.
Pine pattern (such as shiplap or tongue and groove profiles) can be left natural for a rustic cabin feel, white-washed for a farmhouse look or painted a crisp solid for a modern edgy feel. It is less expensive than cedar softwoods, while still providing warmth and character to a space.
We carry a variety of species and grades in pine. Talk to us about your desired look and we can guide you in the right direction. Be sure to visit our Factory Finishing and Millwork tabs to see how to customize your next project.
